The Glendale Church has opened a new Community Services Center.  The Center was opened in September of 2007.  Jana Withrow, Sharon Nelson, and members of the Glendale Community Outreach Committee have worked hard to accomplish this daunting task.  The new Center is located at Indianapolis Jr. Academy, behind the Glendale Seventh-day Adventist Church, and is open to the public on Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30p.m.

The Community Services Center provides food staples to those in need free of charge.  It is stocked by donations from the members of the Glendale Church, and by weekly trips to Gleaners Food Bank in Indianapolis.  At this time, there exists a need for a van or other large vehicle to transport the items from Gleaners to the Glendale Center.  If you could help in this capacity or would like to help in any other way, please contact Jana Withrow at 843-9101.

May God continue to bless this wonderful endeavor and those who are working tirelessly to assist those in need.
