"Heart for My Sister" participants, it is almost that time. We pray you have been enjoying getting closer to your Christian sister here at Glendale Church -- encouraging and uplifting her, and just showing her the love of our Lord. The Revealing Luncheon is scheduled for Sabbath, December 6, 2014, following the Divine worship service, to be held in the fellowship hall. Some of you are going to be surprised to find out who your Secret Sister really is. But that just adds to the fun and excitement of this event. It has been a blessed six months, which will end November 29th. Thank you for your participation, prayers, and encouragement bestowed upon your sister. We know it has blessed and deepened her spiritual walk. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact either Juanita Harris or Jackie McClean.

Wednesdays, 7:00 pm
We are beginning a brand new study this Wednesday, using the book “Majesty: Experiencing Authentic Worship,” by S. Joseph Kidder. This is the perfect time to join the group, if you haven’t already done so. You may obtain a book from Pastor Lopez (discounted price is $10). “Worship . . . is not about being in church for the 11:00 service on Sabbath morning. No, worship is not about us showing up, but about God showing up and breaking through inside of us and bringing His presence and grace to us. It is about being caught up in being so moved by the presence of God that we kneel down in obedience and devotion and then rise up in holy lives filled with service and excitement for what God has done and is doing for us.”
Note to SS Teachers
Sabbath School teachers are kindly reminded to log in on a conference call Friday evenings at 7:00 P.M. for sharing in the quarterly lesson summary discussion of the lesson. This will last for just a half hour. The login call number is (716)274-3400; access code number is 531 2747. This is especially to those who will be teaching as scheduled each Sabbath.
