We have all heard about the tragedy in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. The first response is a heart felt, “what can I do the help this effort?” Your Adventist Community Services (ACS) Director advises the following:
Volunteering and donating: PLEASE do not self-deploy to the disaster area. Individuals who do not deploy with a disaster response agency in coordination with emergency management often create a second disaster. Contact your local conference Disaster Response Coordinator if you would like to volunteer. You may make a financial donation to ACS Disaster Response. Your financial donation will allow ACS to respond to the changing needs. To donate, visit http://nadadventist.us2.list-manage.com , mail a check to ACS, 12501 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, MD or simply place a donation in your church offering plate marked “ACS Disaster Response.”

Midweek Prayer Meeting
We have begun a new prayer meeting series entitled “Christ’s Method Alone”. We are studying Christ’s way of relational witnessing, learning how we can, through an intimate relationship with Christ, bring God’s love, compassion and transformation to those around us through sharing our personal testimony, intercessory prayer, and bible truth. The book costs $13.00. Please contact Pastor Jencks if you would like a copy.
Prayer and Praise Meeting
All are invited to join in an hour of prayer and praise on Sundays at 5pm in the Chapel.
The Glendale website is currently being revitalized and updated. If you have any thoughts, ideas or would like to help in this transformation, please contact LaMoria Patterson at: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
